Agreements
Terms and conditions
Clear agreements provide peace of mind. Below you will find the terms and conditions that apply to support provided by IBIM Consult, practice for Integrative Counselling.
Version October 2026
Sessions and intake
The intake is a one-off session of 1.5 hours. Every session after that lasts 60 minutes. Sessions take place at the home practice in Nijmegen, at De Kleine Wereld in Nijmegen or online.
Fees and payment
The intake costs €172.50. A session costs €115. An evening session costs €140 and a weekend session €150.
You pay per session, by debit card, in cash or by invoice. Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date.
Cancellation
If you are unable to attend, please cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. You may do so by telephone, WhatsApp or email.
Appointments cancelled within 24 hours will be charged. That time has been reserved especially for you and can no longer be offered to anyone else.
Agreement
At the intake, we record our arrangements in a written agreement: your reason for seeking support, how often we meet and when the support will feel successful to you. These terms and conditions form part of that agreement.
Confidentiality
What you share is confidential. I work in accordance with the Dutch WGBO (Medical Treatment Contracts Act). I share information with third parties, such as your GP, only with your explicit written consent.
To safeguard the quality of my work, I may discuss a process in peer review or supervision. This always takes place anonymously, without any information that could identify you. Further details can be found in the privacy statement.
Your information and personal responsibility
Good support requires a complete picture. At the intake, I therefore ask about your health, medication and any previous or current treatment.
I accept no liability for adverse consequences arising from information that is incorrect or incomplete, or from relevant information in a medical record not having been shared. You remain responsible for safeguarding your own physical and psychological limits.
Complementary to regular healthcare
Integrative Counselling is complementary psychosocial care. It complements regular healthcare; it does not replace it. Should physical or psychological problems arise during the support that require other help, I will refer you to your GP or an appropriate specialist.
Ending the support
You may end the support at any time, verbally or in writing. The support also ends once the agreed number of sessions has been completed.
I may end the agreement in writing if:
- you repeatedly do not respond to my attempts to contact you;
- you indicate that you do not wish to adhere to the arrangements we have made together;
- you repeatedly fail to comply with these terms and conditions or with arrangements made during the sessions;
- in my professional judgement the support is not appropriate, for example because your question requires specialist care. In that case, I will refer you with care.
Support arranged through your employer
If you receive support on behalf of your employer or another client organisation, we record the arrangements in a three-party agreement, which is also signed by your employer. Your employer is informed only of what you choose to share.
Feedback and complaints
If you have feedback or a complaint, please raise it with me first so that we can seek a solution together.
