Personal data processed

For clients: name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth and occupation. In addition, information concerning your health and your reason for seeking support. These are special categories of personal data, which receive extra protection.

For businesses: the contact person's details and the details needed for invoicing.

Purposes of processing

Your data are used solely for the support itself, for scheduling appointments and for invoicing. I never use your data for marketing purposes and never sell them to third parties.

The legal basis for processing is the agreement between us and my legal obligations: the WGBO requires me to keep a client file, and tax law requires me to keep financial records.

Client file

I maintain a client file containing notes on your reason for seeking support and on the support provided. Only I have access to this file. I treat your file in strict confidence.

Sharing data with third parties

I share information only with your explicit written consent, for example with your GP.

To safeguard the quality of my work, I may discuss a process in peer review or supervision. This always takes place anonymously, without any information that could identify you.

If you receive support on behalf of your employer, your employer is informed only of what you consent to share.

Invoices contain only the details required for payment and, should you wish to submit a claim, for your health insurer.

Retention periods

I keep your file for 20 years after the last change, as required by the WGBO. I keep my financial records for 7 years, as required by tax law. Messages from people who do not become clients are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed.

Security

Paper files are kept in a locked cabinet. Digital data are stored on password-protected devices and in password-protected software.

Contact by email, WhatsApp and the contact form

You can email me, message me or use the contact form to make an appointment. Please do not share extensive personal or medical information through these channels; such matters are best discussed in person.

This website

The contact form on this website sends your request to info@ibimconsult.nl. To do so, the website uses Resend, a service that delivers email. The website does not keep your request. The website itself stores nothing and does not use cookies to track you. The website uses Google Fonts; in doing so, your IP address is transmitted to Google.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data and to have them corrected. You may request their erasure, unless I am legally obliged to retain them. You may also object to their processing or request a copy. Please send your request to info@ibimconsult.nl; I will respond within one month.

Complaints

Should you have a complaint, please raise it with me first so that we can seek a solution together. If we are unable to resolve it, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

This privacy statement may be amended. The most recent version is always available on this website.
